Release Phase
The following are the activities which are carried out during the release phase:
1. Shipping the Deliverables- it is during this phase that the Accepted Deliverables are transitioned or delivered to the necessary stakeholders. A successful completion of a particular Sprint is documented in a Working Deliverables Agreement which is written formally.
2. Retrospect Project- this is the last activity in an Agile project. In the process, the various stakeholders of the organization and the Agile Team members meet so as to retrospect the project. During this meeting, the lessons learned during the development of the project are identified, documented and internalized. These lessons are of great importance as they help in the documentation of the actionable improvements which have been agreed, and they will be implemented in the organization’s future projects.
After the completion of this Agile phase, a Working Deliverables Agreement, Agreed Actionable Improvements as well as the Assigned Action Items together with their due dates are generated.
